          Nadcap is the abbreviation of National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program. It is the certification of special products and processes of the aerospace industry by the U.S. aerospace and defense industries. It is a certification system for special products and processes of the aerospace industry jointly initiated and developed by the aerospace and defense industry tycoons of the United States, the U.S. department of defense, SAE and other agencies.



          From December 24 to 27, 2018, Mr. William Lee, an auditor of Nadcap Coating of PRI Certification Company, conducted a 4-day review of the company's high-speed flame spray coating special process. The chairman of KLT CARBIDE CO.,LTD, Zou Zheng (fourth from the right), led the team to cooperate for the review.



          From December 13 to 17, 2017, KLT CARBIDE CO.,LTD completed the first audit of NADCAP high-speed flame spraying coating process.

          The company successfully obtained NADCAP certification on March 5, 2018.



          The review examined the Surface Engineering Center, Machining Branch, Validation and Physical and Chemical Laboratory of Quality Department and enterprise management departments of the company. A comprehensive examination was carried out, including the surface cleaning, sandblasting, spraying, EDM sampling of samples and workpieces, as well as the grinding of workpiece coatings, the inspection of size and surface finish, the inspection of coating bending and stretching, metallographic and hardness properties.


          Finally, Mr. William objectively evaluated the high-speed flame spraying process of the company. In his opinion, the workshop layout of the company is reasonable, the management is standard, and the staff with strong professional knowledge make skilled operation. He hoped that the company could further improve the level and stability of the coating process to meet the quality requirements of the aviation industry.
